The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Scholarships 2010/2011 for higher study

Scholarship Introduction:
Scholarship for Postgraduate Courses for Professionals with Relevance to Developing Countries 2010/2011 Germany
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is granting scholarships for academic year 2010/2011 to lecturers and graduate students to study in Master Degree and Doctoral Degree in various fields.
Eligibility for Scholarship:
1. Applicant must hold a Bachelor Degree or a Master Degree
2. Applicant must have at least 2 years of related professional experience
3. Applicant must not be older than 32-36 years old (depending on the field of study)
4. Applicant must not be a recipient of another scholarship

How to apply:
1. Application form
2. Hand-signed CV (in europass form)
3. Hand-signed letter of motivation
4. Research proposal (if required by University)
5. Academic letter/s of recommendation from applicant’s university; the letter must have a signature and official stamp and must be of recent date (not in a sealed envelope)
6. Professional letter/s of recommendation from applicant’s employer; the letter must have a signature and official stamp and must be of recent date (not in a sealed envelope)
7. Confirmation of employment from the employer in applicant’s home country, and if possible, a guarantee of re-employment upon applicant’s return home
8. Proof of language abilities: English – TOEFL or IELTS (Note: Institutional TOEFL will not be accepted); German – if available
9. Certified copies of academic transcripts
10. Certified copies of awarded academic degrees
11. Certified copy of School Leaving Certificate
