The James Henry Scott Scholarship

Applications are invited for the James Henry Scott Scholarship, starting in September 2009 (the academic year 2009/10).
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. The scholarship is open to candidates who satisfy the following conditions:
- Students must be commencing a one-year Master of Science degree (MSc) in Environmental Science at the University of Aberdeen in September 2009.
- Students must be from the People’s Republic of China, or Hong Kong
The scholarship will cover:
- Full International Postgraduate Tuition Fees for the 2009/10 academic year of £11,500
- A maintenance award of £12,940. The recipient of The James Henry Scott Scholarship shall also receive one economy airfare from their place of residence to the University of Aberdeen – this is to be arranged directly between the scholarship recipient and the Swire Educational Trust

- a CV including grades achieved to date, and a covering letter. (Please include your Application ID number on the covering letter).
- a personal statement detailing what you plan to do once you complete your studies.
